Our team of experienced, compassionate Child and Youth Workers provide support for children, youth and adults with Social, Emotional, Developmental and Behavioural challenges.
We offer one-on-one support in the home, hospitals and schools to individuals displaying: Severe Mood Swings; Violent, Withdrawn or Aggressive Behaviour; Depression; Anxiety; Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity; Poor Social Skills and Learning Disabilities. In providing services, our first and foremost emphasis is on encouraging acceptable, productive behaviour.

Bearing in mind that a caring and positive relationship fosters an emotional climate within which wholesome development can evolve, our staff develops a positive relationship with each individual and their family. Not only does this help to distract from negative behaviour, but it encourages and supports a more productive and socially acceptable behaviour. |

| HOME SUPPORT SERVICES |
Our home support service consists of Parental and Respite Support. In providing these services, emphasis is placed on teaching the child or other loved one, the skills which are conducive to productivity. |
| Parental Support |
We provide home support service to assist parents and other family members in caring for their child or other loved one who has social, emotional, developmental or behavioural challenges. Parental support ranges from providing companionship; personal care... to taking your loved one on social outings in the community.

| Respite Support |
Our Child and Youth Workers provide respite support within the home, to give family caregivers a break. |
COMMUNITY SUPPORT SERVICES |
| We provide community support services in schools and healthcare facilities. |
| Schools |
| Our service is provided in schools by Child & Youth Workers and focuses on helping the child or youth to improve their academic skills and to acquire the necessary social and behavioural skills required to be productive members of society. |
| Health Care Facilities |
| We provide crisis intervention in hospitals and other health care facilities to children, youth or adults with severe behaviour. We also provide discharge assistance and transportation home. |
| Our Staff |
| Our Child and Youth Workers possess Child and Youth Worker diplomas and are experienced, caring professionals. They are covered by Worker’s Compensation (WSIB), Professional Liability and Fidelity insurance. Supervision of our staff is provided by the Managing Director and our team of Social Workers. |

| All applicants must meet the following requirements: |

Must possess a Child and Youth Worker Diploma from an accredited college |
|
Must have current CPR and First Aid certificates |
|
Must possess a minimum of one year of relevant experience. |
|
Must provide a Vulnerable Sector Police Criminal Reference check |
|
Must provide a Doctor’s note and proof of medical immunization against all infectious diseases |
|
Must provide 3 references |
|
Drivers License and an insured vehicle is an asset |

Drivers must provide a Driver’s Abstract |
